Christmas, done differently.
Finding the perfect blend between content, conversation and Christmas.
We were engaged by Australian furniture brand, Brosa, to develop the creative direction, illustration and design of their 2020 Christmas campaign. 2020 wasn’t your typical year and Brosa wanted to promote togetherness and conversation through a meaningful campaign highlighting their honest, caring and uncomplicated brand values.
Using typography with charm and quirk paired with energetic illustrations, we created a not-so-Christmasy campaign that filled the audience with joy and hope for 2021.
2020 taught us many things but one of the standout lessons was gratitude. We used the power of storytelling and empathy to create a strong Christmas campaign for Brosa that shared vulnerability and gratitude..This resulted in a content piece highlighting and celebrating the internal staff with a series called “gratitude.” 2020 took something from everyone but gave us something too. We worked with the internal team to break down the anxieties of 2020 and replaced (some of) it with optimism and hope.
Our homes became our sanctuaries in 2020: our office, our gyms, our place of relaxation and everything in between. We worked with Brosa to create content that people would actually want to engage with, things that were useful and not-so-saleys including the development of a tailored content hub series with activities, tutorials, articles and a $2000 giveaway collaboration between Brosa, Vino Mofo, Nourished Life, Robert Gordon and Mosey Me.
The giveaway had over 5500 entries which exceeded the expected amount from the Brosa team.
The illustration suite was purposefully designed to marry with the art direction. We wanted it to be playful yet elevated, simplistic yet engaging and offer a moment of enjoyment for customers.
We finished the campaign with a series of animated GIFs allowing the brand to flourish in their digital-first approach. These GIFs had strong social cut-through, showcasing the beautiful campaign photography and art direction.
