Journal:
Curated thoughts, projects and interviews.
Our journal covers topics such as branding, graphic design and current events.

We really love talking and presenting to the next generation of creatives as they’re so excited about our crazy, wonderful and diverse industry. Their passion is infectious and we get just as much out of it as they do. Over the past 18 months, we've presented and ran workshops with High Schools, TAFEs, Universities and industry discussing the power of passion projects, being your authentically weird self, the importance of storytelling in design, using empathy for small businesses and things we wished we had known earlier in our career.... that one is particularly long 😉 For media or speaking enquiring, contact hello@storyfolk.com.au

As our name suggests, storytelling is a huge part of what we do at Storyfolk whether thats through strategy or design. We’re always looking for memorable ways to leave an impression on people. 〰️ We were engaged to create a communication strategy for AI-powered mental health platform @cyber_clinic 🧠

Our homes became our sanctuaries in 2020: our office, our gyms, our place of relaxation and everything in between. We worked with @brosadesign to create content that people would actually want to engage with, things that were useful and not-so-saleys including a storytelling piece around the theme gratitude where customers could learn about the individuals behind the Brosa brand and what they were grateful for in 2020.

“A standout for me was working on the Dutch renewable energy company Horizon NL’s brand identity. Renewable energy is exciting, innovative and aims to disrupt the traditional energy sector completely. It’s a pleasure to be a part of the solution.” Cass Mackenzie, Design Director of @storyfolk_studio

We’re supporting @ruokday in their #takeawaytogether movement by ordering takeaway from our favourite local and sharing it with our team, family and friends to stay connected as we enter another six weeks of lockdown in Melbourne. It’s so incredibly important to stay connected, support each other and support local businesses through these uncertain times. How do you stay connected? 💛💛💛

We wanted to do something that would have a positive impact for people and businesses during COVID-19 so we’ve been working on a couple of secret projects. Project one has been a passion project highlighting some of our favourite local eateries who are doing it tough but rising to the challenge to keep the community fed, caffeinated, and happy! We wanted to use our skillset as creatives to shine some much-needed light on the hospitality industry. #passionproject #melbournefoodie

Fun shirt Friday 🚨
This is Cass. Cass is a superhuman designer and design director with an incredible passion for the craft of design. Cass brings so much more to the studio than the occasional fun shirt. She is typographically gifted, has an incredible eye for layout and is a self-taught animator/3D artist.
When Cass isn’t being a creative powerhouse at Storyfolk, you can find her surfing in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. 🏄♀ ⛄️
